This touch profiles can be used also in devices with the same screen size and form factor. The Orientation field depends on the orientation of your device relative to the landscape or portrait default orientation.

I played it with another phone as controller, if you want map your hardware controller, change buttons mapping on touch profile. (you have the screenshot, is simple)

update:
the left stick is better in normal mode for DroidMote soft gamepad and better in relative mode for hardware controller. (Only in this game i use two different stick mode, but as you see sometimes can be a good alternative)
